We are thrilled to announce that Frolic + Detour's '24 world tour will kick off at Paradise Lost, Ibiza.  This iconic venue, nestled in the heart of Ibiza Town, a short stroll down the beach from Talamanca Bay and just a stones throw from the Castle, is a spiritual home of dance music, love, arts, culture, freedom, inclusivity, saucy drinks, and raucous good times.  Come join us as we celebrate Eivissa and all that it stands for.  'The subject of this work is train travel from an emotional perspective and an experienced observation. I created a composed collection of selected peculiarities and characteristics of train travel as well as atmospheric images and moods of a train journey. I translated self-experienced feelings and perceptions into a visual language, sometimes complemented by short texts. I have found and created images that convey what I believe makes up the train journey and, in my eyes, makes it so beautiful. I wanted to achieve this without having to show the train or depict the passenger in each image in a concrete way. The result is a work that tells the story from the perspective of the feeling and therefore speaks to the feeling of the viewer, an associative and atmospheric work.'
